Octopus-Inspired Sunscreen Science News Article
I wrote this article explaining the scientific development of a more effective, eco-friendly sunscreen ingredient based on octopus biology for Total Apex Herald, a company that publishes daily articles about health, nature, technology, political news, and more.
I researched the topic by reading scientific papers and other resources on the Web. I synthesized the information I researched into an article that explained how the researchers isolated the molecule xanthommatin, which octopuses use to change colors and camouflage themselves, and created a synthetic version of the molecule. I also explained how sunscreens that use this synthetic version would provide better UV protection and be more eco-friendly to use in marine environments.
I built out the article in Total Apex Herald's WordPress CMS, integrating the article's text with relevant images and links to the resources I used to write it. I also wrote the SEO keywords, meta descriptions, and tags for the article to improve its ranking in search engines across the Internet.
By writing this article, I was able to attract more readers to Total Apex Herald's website and inform them about a scientific discovery they would find interesting and relevant. I also provided links to other articles other writers and I wrote on the Total Apex website to encourage readers to engage more with the content on the website.
